Residential service

Deep cleaning for homes that need more time, detail, and attention

A more detailed cleaning scope for buildup, first-time service, seasonal resets, and homes that need attention beyond routine maintenance.

More detailed attention

Deep cleaning addresses conditions that routine maintenance cannot reasonably cover

Deep cleaning is appropriate when a home has visible buildup, has not been professionally cleaned recently, or needs additional time for edges, surfaces, and detail work. It is not simply a longer standard cleaning; the scope should identify which areas need the extra attention.

Because condition varies widely, deep cleaning is custom quoted. Photos, property details, and clear priorities help determine whether the requested work fits one appointment or should be divided into phases.

DFW Clean HQ

Deep-cleaning categories to discuss

Not every detail is automatically included; these categories help define a realistic quote.

Buildup in kitchens and bathrooms

Additional time may be planned for grease, soap residue, mineral deposits, and accumulated soil on agreed surfaces.

Edges and detailed surfaces

Baseboards, door frames, cabinet exteriors, reachable trim, and other selected details can be prioritized.

First-time professional cleaning

A first visit can establish a cleaner baseline before moving into a recurring maintenance plan.

Room-by-room priorities

The scope can focus on the spaces where the condition or customer priorities require the most detailed work.

Scope of work

Deep cleaning checklist: everything in a standard visit, plus the detail work

A deep clean is not a longer standard clean. It covers the full standard scope and adds the buildup, edges and detail a maintenance visit never reaches — including baseboards and light switches, which a standard visit does not.

Detailed service planning

What to consider before scheduling deep cleaning

Useful cleaning content should help a customer make a decision, understand the process, and request a more accurate quote.

Deep cleaning is priced on condition, not size

Two identical homes can differ by a factor of two or three depending on how long since they were last properly cleaned. This is why deep cleaning is quoted individually and why photographs help so much. A description like "it just needs a good going over" almost always understates the work.

A deep clean first makes recurring service cheaper

Starting a recurring schedule on a home with heavy buildup sets it up to fail — every visit is spent fighting a backlog and the baseline never improves. One deep clean to establish a baseline, then standard visits to hold it, costs less over a year than months of recurring visits running at a deficit.

Decide what "done" looks like before the visit

Deep cleaning has no natural end point — there is always another edge to detail. The most satisfying outcomes come from agreeing priorities in advance: which rooms matter most, which specific problems need solving, and what can wait until next time.

Residential pricing

Deep cleaning, $300 to $675

Final pricing is confirmed before service and depends on property size, condition, cleaning frequency, access, and requested scope.

Frequently asked questions

Planning your cleaning service

What is the difference between deep cleaning and regular cleaning?

Regular cleaning maintains a home already in reasonable condition — surfaces, bathrooms, kitchen, floors. Deep cleaning adds time for the things a maintenance visit never reaches: buildup behind and under appliances, grout, skirting boards, door frames, cabinet fronts and interiors, vents, and detailed edge work. It is a reset, not a longer standard clean.

How much does a deep clean cost in DFW?

Deep cleaning is quoted per property rather than from a fixed rate, because the labour is in the condition, not the square footage. A typical three-bed, two-bath home in ordinary condition runs $300 to $675, against $235 to $480 for a standard clean. Photographs of the current state produce a far more accurate quote than square footage alone.

How often should a house be deep cleaned?

Most homes benefit from a deep clean every three to six months, plus one before a move, an event, or the start of a recurring schedule. Homes with pets, young children, or heavy cooking usually sit at the shorter end of that range.

How long does a deep clean take?

Considerably longer than a standard visit — commonly four to eight hours for a typical home, and sometimes split across two appointments when the condition warrants it. We would rather tell you it needs two visits than rush one and leave you disappointed.

Does deep cleaning include inside the oven and refrigerator?

They can be included, but they are called out explicitly in the quote rather than assumed, because both add real time. Tell us at quote stage if you want them and they will be scoped and priced properly.
